Carl Nelkin is a native of Dublin, Ireland and an active member of the Irish Jewish community.
An aviation lawyer by profession, in his spare time Carl is a singer of Irish, Jewish and Classical music.
In 2003, Carl released his first CD entitled “Irish Heart - Jewish Soul”, an album of Irish and Jewish songs with an emphasis on the blending of Irish and Jewish cultures. In January, 2009, he released an album entitled “The Little Trees are Weeping – Songs of the Holocaust and Resistance”.
Carl also serves regularly as a Cantor and, in the past, has served at various locations in the United States and Great Britain as well as in Dublin.
